There’s spaces and faces then there's you.
You were special because you made my heart swell,
You made it bigger,
Made it so full there was no room for anyone else.
Your face was like the sun,
I looked forward to seeing it
And it made my day bright seeing that smile.
But then space and distance broke this heart,
Made my inflated heart balloon burst.
The feeling of walking on air,
Feeding on love disappeared in a whoosh,
In the blinking of a space minute.
I stopped wanting to see your face,
It became like ice to me,
Cold, numbing and chilling.
There's major space where your love used to be,
Your face, it fades from my memory,
The texture, contours, and lines,
Slowly dissolving into space and time.
